Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 oz / 45 ml Meriwether Bourbon
  • 0.5 oz / 15 ml Fresh lime juice
  • 4 to 5 oz / 120 to 150 ml Ginger beer
  • 1 Dash Angostura bitters
  • 1 Mint sprig optional garnish

Equipment

  • Bar Tools: Copper mug or highball glass
  • Jigger, bar spoon, citrus press

Method
 

  1. Fill a copper mug or highball glass with ice.
  2. Add Meriwether Bourbon and fresh lime juice.
  3. Top with ginger beer.
  4. Add one dash of Angostura bitters.
  5. Stir gently with a bar spoon to combine.
  6. Garnish with a lime wheel and an optional mint sprig.

Notes

Pro Tip: Choose a spicy ginger beer. A soft ginger beer will disappear behind Meriwether’s proof.
