Ingredients
  

  • 1.25 oz / 37 ml of Meriwether Bourbon
  • 4 oz / 120 ml Hot water
  • 0.5 oz / 15 ml Honey
  • 0.5 oz / 15 ml Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 1 Lemon wheel for garnish

Equipment

  • Kettle heat-safe mug, jigger, bar spoon.

Method
 

  1. Warm a heat-safe mug with hot water, then discard the water.
  2. Add honey and fresh lemon juice to the mug.
  3. Add hot water and stir with a bar spoon until the honey dissolves.
  4. Add Meriwether Bourbon.
  5. Stir gently to combine.
  6. Garnish with a lemon wheel and cinnamon stick.

Notes

Pro Tip: Keep the Meriwether pour at 1.25 oz. Heat intensifies alcohol, so a lighter pour creates a smoother hot drink.
